Kate is a performer, writer, director and workshop leader. Kate trained at East 15 Acting School. Her first job was at the Museum of the Moving Image (under the BFI on London’s South Bank), playing characters improvising directly with the audience. She particularly enjoyed being caught reading ‘naughty’ books as a 1940’s cinema usherette. 

Up til March of 2020 Kate spent 15 years as the Creative Director of Past Pleasures Ltd – putting the actors and historical scenario’s performed daily at Hampton Court Palace, the Tower of London and at heritage sites world wide. 

Since founding Mrs Baker’s Medway Theatre Company Ltd in November 2019, Kate’s work has concentrated on her home towns, with ACE funded shows presented at Chatham Carnival & Electric Medway festival. Nic Lamont is a comedy performer, writer, and workshop leader. A graduate of RCSSD and one half of Award-Winning comedy duo The Twins Macabre, her work has been featured on BBC, BBC Radio 4, Amazon and Netflix. On stage, Nic has performed in the West End and  toured national and international theatres.

Nic is the writer of three dark comedy plays and has collaborated on two musicals.  

Nic is an Improvisation and Immersive Theatre specialist. She has performed in Improv shows including No Shoes Theatre's The Improvised Musical, The Invention Cycle, Fluxx's Without Planning Permission. She has worked with immersive theatre companies Secret Cinema, Gingerline and Les Enfants Terribles. 

Recently Nic has been Medway's regional producer and mentor for Funny Women's Glitter Project providing special guests, workshops and Open Mic's where female identifying comedians can meet in a safe place to network, get inspiration ask advice and try new material.
